Our Goals

The main objective of the Transport Infrastructure Directorate is to develop roads and bridges in a sustainable manner, covering all geographical areas, including backward regions, for the economic upliftment of the province. The Transport Infrastructure Directorate will prioritize the following aspects to develop the road network in Bagmati Province: Special emphasis will be given to road maintenance to ensure the road network remains effective. The road network from the provincial capital to district capitals and local administrative centers will be made of high quality. The regional road network will be improved to make travel safer, more reliable, and cost-effective. An integrated transport system will be developed for the overall social and economic development of the province.
